Strong face wash?

My skin is pretty oily and I am looking for a new face wash. I want something very strong to kill all bacteria. I dont' care if my face will be dry or ithcy, I am looking for a very strong face wash without a prescription. I am currently using PanOxl.Strong face wash?
NO WONDER YOUR SKIN IS OILY!!!!!!! If you ';fry'; your face with strong face wash, it will make your glands over produce the oil that is over the surface of your face. This leads to clogging and huge pimples. Not only does it do this but in time the oil on your face will get worse and the acne you either don't hae or have will make your face look like a cheep Sams club pizza.

I suggest that you buy the ';Proactive'; Combo. I usually tell women to go on birth control, since most of the zits are hormonal. However since your a male, yor best bet would be Proactive. This is because it doesn't leave your skin ';completely'; dry, because it regulates the oil on your face and tries to heal the red blotches old zits made.

All in all the oil glands will slow down and although the oil will not go away ( every one's face is oily at least at peak moment during the day), it will control it and keep you looking normal. Good Luck!Strong face wash?
clean and clear works best
I love the Clean and Clear products, especially the ones in the purple bottles.

You will need more than the face wash to help the oily face though.

I use the astringent and their acne gel (salycidic acid) 2x a day.
okay here it is. i dont actually recommend this. but here is what i am doing now after trying everything the others here spoke of in one form or another.. after more than 30 years of acne i used gojo. the mechanics hand cleaner to clean to wash my face once when nothing else was around. i thought my face might burn or something but i used just a tiny bit and was fine. i knew the next day it was working on my acne.and i have been using it nightly ever since. just the littlest bit on a finger tip and a good rinse.

its only been two months and a lot of things have worked for me for a little while. so i cant really recommend it, heck it may be dangerous. it is basically gasoline. but they put all sorts of fancy scents and lotions into it these days. and i rationalize to myself that it is made to go on the skin.

my pores are shrinking and everything. no burning no reddness no exess oil production,so far so great.

well, you asked for the big guns.
he products you are using, are they Salsylic Acid or Benzoyl peroxide? BP can be VERY drying. I personally like SA better. Salsylic acid it really good. It is in almost all acne washes. Benzoyl Peroxide is too drying for me! Try finding a face lotion with SA in it. Clean and Clear has a good moisturizer with SA and it helps keep pimples at bay. It is only about $5 a bottle and lasts about 2 months and you can get it at your local store. I have used this in the past and it works well. Personally, I use Biore products (which you get over the counter. Their products range from $5-$10). They are harsh on pimples, but not on your face.

Personally, Proactive didn't work for me. I have been using Biore products for over a year and I hardly ever break out! Occasionally I will get one or two, but nothing bad. I use Biore Ice Cleanser and warming facial scrub every morning. And then 3-4 day s a week I use Biore purging pore cream scrub. For body acne I use Neutrogena acne body wash I never break out on my body. It gets 110 in summer so sweat in inevitably, yet I never break out. Give it a try. All of it is cheap too. About $5-10 depending on what you buy! Salsylic acid it really good. It is in almost all acne washes. Benzoyl Peroxide is too drying for me! I think you will just need to experiment with products until you find what works for you. Remember, it can take 1 month for products to fully begin working! Good Luck!
Your face is oily in part BECAUSE you're drying it out too much! When you use a more gentle facial wash, your skin doesn't have to work overtime to make more oil to make up for the harsh cleanser. Be gentle to your facial skin and it will look A LOT better and feel A LOT better.
