you can use your hands to wash your face, however if you want to scrub off dirt deeper, you may use your wash cloth but scrub it mildly strokes going upward.
Using just your hands is fine. If you use a wash cloth you could scratch your skin with the material. Likewise for rinsing the cleanser off.
I always just use my hands because if you use a washcloth it could scratch your face. And then when you are totally done rinsing your face off use a towel to pat your face dry!
It'd my opinion that a washcloth would provide you some exfoliating which would be good for your skin. rinse well.
ii will suggest a wash cloth..before you apply the cleanser and use the cloth to take it off..
